Sic Parvis Magna. True Greatness Lies in the Small Details. That's what I believe in.

As a software engineer with a knack for both software and hardware, I thrive on the ever-evolving landscape of technology. Whether it's coding or tinkering with the latest gadgets, my passion for tech knows no bounds.
My Motto

Sic Parvis Magna

Sic Parvis Magna, a Latin phrase, translates to ‘Greatness from Small Beginnings.’ For me, it’s more than just words – it’s a guiding philosophy engraved in my heart and etched into my ring. It serves as a reminder that every achievement, no matter how modest it may seem, has the potential to lead to something extraordinary. It’s a testament to the belief that even the smallest steps can pave the way to greatness, inspiring me to embrace every opportunity and challenge with determination and resilience.

My Passions

Geek of All Trades

Software Engineer

My love for programming began in third grade of elementary school when I built my first websites. Since then, I've taught myself through countless hobby projects, each one deepening my passion for coding. Although my job as a software engineer often leaves me with little time or energy to code after work, I still enjoy working on personal projects whenever I can.

Tech Enthousiast

I've always had a deep love for technology, from building and upgrading my own gaming PC to creating a smart home with Home Assistant and Zigbee. At one point, I wanted to be a computer mechanic but realized most people replace their devices instead of repairing them. Despite this, my passion for hardware and tech innovation continues to drive me.

Linux Geek

My journey into Linux began with hobby projects that required hosting servers and running scripts. What started as trial and error in my youth has evolved into a deep knowledge of Linux. Over the years, I’ve not only honed my skills through personal projects but also managed servers at a corporate level. My passion for Linux continues to drive my exploration and mastery of this powerful, open-source operating system.

Game Modder

My journey as a game modder began with programming a Habbo Retro and then extensively modding GTA San Andreas for many years. This early experience sparked a lasting passion for creating mods. To this day, I continue to develop mods, primarily for GTA San Andreas and Minecraft. I dream of someday creating or contributing to a game, turning my passion for game modification into something even bigger.

Self-Sufficiency

Self-sufficiency is a core passion of mine. It’s not just about sustainability—though that’s a wonderful benefit. For me, it’s about finding peace and fulfillment in creating and providing for myself. Whether it’s growing my own vegetables or tackling DIY projects, I find immense satisfaction in being hands-on and self-reliant. In a world full of uncertainty, self-sufficiency offers a way to stay grounded and resilient.

My Passion Outside of Work

From Binary to Back to Basics 🌱

Many people often use self-sufficiency and sustainability interchangeably, but for me, they carry different meanings. While sustainability is certainly nice, my true passion lies in self-sufficiency. Working in my garden offers a peaceful escape after a long day, allowing me to disconnect from the stress and simply focus on creating something beautiful with my hands.

The world is an unstable place, and while it’s easy to complain about the instability and rising prices (and sometimes, rightfully so), I’ve chosen a different path. Instead of just worrying, I grow my own fruits and vegetables. This not only helps reduce costs but also provides me with food that is far healthier than what you can buy at the grocery store. For me, self-sufficiency is about taking control, finding peace in the process, and enjoying the tangible results of my efforts.

What I find important in life

Ferocious Bear with a Byte

Family has always been the most important thing in my life. Growing up with what many would call old-fashioned ideas about family, I learned early on the importance of staying close and supporting one another. When my father passed away from cancer, I was thrust into a position where I had to step up as the only son and ‘lead’ my family. This experience reinforced my belief that family is everything.

Throughout history, the bear has symbolized ferocity in protecting family, and I’ve come to embrace the bear as my spirit animal. Like the bear, I am deeply committed to guarding and nurturing those I love, ensuring that family remains at the heart of everything I do.
